CATEGORIES
The nation’s fastest riders will battle it out at the final round of the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship as the riders and their machines return to the fast and challenging International Circuit at The Bend. Seven spectacular national classes will compete for supremacy and glory across the 3-day-event showcasing Australia’s top two-wheeled warriors, alongside the stars of the future. And to the delight of many fans Jack Miller will once more appear the final round of the ASBK Championship.
Alpinestars superbike
Australia’s Superbike category is the premier road racing class in the nation. The Superbikes are based on production road going motorcycles that are readily available for domestic purchase, unlike the MotoGP prototypes. Troy Herfoss is currently leading the championship by 14 points, ahead of Josh Waters and 60 points ahead of the reigning champion Mike Jones. Entries for wildcards have once again been opened, although riders are yet to be confirmed.
