GA Tickets are now on sale for the April 5-7 Riverbend Nationals, with The Australian Top Fuel Championship set to return to The Bend for the first time since selling out the Dragway at The Bends Grand Opening in October with over 35,000 fans in attendance.
A once in a lifetime Launch Special is taking place with all fans who purchase a 3-Day General Admission ticket in the first 24 hours going in the running to win a Top Fuel Start Line Experience for two. The most raw experience in global Drag Racing, if not world motorsport, will place two lucky fans just metres away from the 11,000 Horsepower Top Fuel Dragsters as they launch to over 500 Kilometres an hour in just 3 seconds.
Tickets are limited with fans expected to flock to The Bend after the country’s newest facility confirmed itself as one of the world’s quickest tracks first time out with Top Fuel Racer Wayne Newby setting a time that was just 0.12 of a second off the world record Top Fuel time.
The Top Fuel Championship will feature on Saturday & Sunday of the 3-day event with tickets available from 4:30 PM ACDT via thebend.com.au
Alistair MacDonald, CEO - Shell V-Power Motorsport Park
“Welcoming back Top Fuel to South Australia for the second time after the show they put on in front of over 35,000 fans last time out is a huge coup for our state.
We are in the business of experiences so to offer two lucky fans the chance to win a start line experience alongside a pair of these Top Fuel Dragsters is extremely exciting for fans and The Bend.”
Andy Lopez, CEO - National Drag Racing Championship
“We could not be more pumped to have the Australian Top Fuel Championship returning to the Dragway at The Bend in April off the back of their sold-out track debut at the Spring Nationals in October.
It’s also the final round of the Aeroflow Sportsman Championship for our western conference competitors so the fans can expect some extremely high intensity drag racing.”
Tickets for The Riverbend Nationals are on-sale via thebend.com.au now with the event proudly supported by the South Australian Government through the South Australian Tourism Commission.
